It's the first of August, and here are some updated pix of my over wintered plants from last year. They have gotten a little leggy, except for the one I pruned drastically (3rd from left). Some of the pods are hidden by leaves, there's a ton of them.
Here's a close up of the pruned plant. You can see the top of the original stump - it's the light colored part near the bottom. It's very compact, and full of pods. I keep these plants on a balcony and while wading through them, I broke a stem off of this plant. I put it in some water, and 4 of the 6 pods have ripened, it will be interesting to see if they're hot. I just brought them inside to be able to photograph from underneath.
